Emerson Flute Serial Numbers

ALTUS, C flute, Model 1207 Serial Number 604, solid silver with silver plated keys. EMERSON Flute Omega, #56691, model MG2830F, solid silver body, gold.

I have a flute with the number 84 on headpiece 3684, ELD in a diamond, 'E.L. DeFord Elkhart' and 'for Bruno' engraved on the body 3684 on the end piece I have no idea what model this is and am looking to sell it, but want to be able to give as much accurate information as possible. Best Answer: Emerson is a maker of student model flutes, so the value will not be high. The value will depend on it's condition. If it has been sitting around for a while it will likely need servicing and new pads which will decrease the value. There are some Emerson flutes for sale on E-bay in the $100-200 but these prices seem optimistic to me. I'd suggest that you take the flute to a qualified repair person and ask their opinion on the value of the flute.
