/private/var/cache/apt/archives is there but the LAST file is: cydia_1.1.16_iphoneos-arm.deb After this was installed, NONE of the other debs would appear. Granted that before this update they would be deleted after reboot/or respring we could still back them up before pressing 'Restart Springboard' or 'Reboot'. BAD NEWS is that I could not find the deb file. It went through the whole file and folder hierarchy from the root and found just the.app folder (and its associated files) but NOT the.deb file. /private/var/mobile/Library/Caches/com.saurik.Cydia/archives And to give credit where credit is due: NOTE: This site says that the directory is dependent on iOS and the above directory is supposed to be for iOS 8.X.

I am on iOS 7.X and my files are now in this new directory. This leads me to believe that it's NOT iOS dependent, but rather Cydia installer version dependent. Cydia 1.1.16 路 Cydia Cydia 1.1.16 is a bug fix release iOS 8 'Restore from Backup' Fixed This update fixes an important bug in Cydia 1.1.14 and 1.1.15 on iOS 8: if you used 'restore from backup' in iTunes after your first use of Cydia, you needed to reinstall this package to make sure your device could safely reboot with a passcode enabled. It should now be OK to use the iTunes 'restore from backup' feature without needing to then reinstall Cydia Installer afterward to avoid reboot problems. Increase iOS 8 Multitask Timeout Cydia automatically refreshes the package catalog if it was suspended too long. This timeout is now set to 15 minutes.
