Casio Bp 100 User Manual

This is a Casio BP-100 that I picked up recently from a guy on craigslist. He said that he got it as a gift years ago when he got diagnosed with hypertension, but never wore it because he wasn't a watch guy. It's practically NOS and has all the little bits such as the box, instruction booklet, cassette tape (for use instructions). It may be missing an outer sleeve, but I'm not 100% sure on that one. The band is in good shape which is cool because it is my understanding that dry rot can be an issue with 20 year old casio bands.

The back light is crappy, but even that works. I have not had a chance to really test out the heartrate and BP functions. As far as I have been able to discern it functions as a sort of two lead EKG where the back plate of the watch and your finger on the front of the watch allow for the HR and BP to be monitored. I can't imagine that it's the most accurate way to do a blood pressure, but it's neat at any rate.

Other than these functions it has a lot of the standard Casio stuff (stopwatch, Countdown timer, alarms, hour chime, perpetual calendar). I love vintage casio and have been searching for some pieces locally for about the past year or so. I always get a little envious of people posting their sweet yard sale and thrift store finds.
